Do you mean Nizoral shampoo when you say nizoral cream/lotion?

Hi,

I believe I've had TV for more than 5 yrs now. Initial doctor diagnosed it as a fungi and gave me some lotion, but I was inconsistent in applying it. The lotion ran out and I have since then moved to America. This new doctor thinks my discoloration comes from scarring when I scratch (back, shoulder blades, stomach area as well as just under jaw area). But I tried to explain that the dark skin is MY skin and it was the white spots that had SPREAD from a smaller area. But he wasn't listening, he still believes that I'm pale and the darker skin is the scarring.
Since then I've tried OTC Selsun Blue in the manner as you've recommended, but it first dried out my skin (but I didn't apply any moisturizer) and then it caused rashes.

Q: Should I try the Nizoral alternative? And what is this cream that you are referring to, if it's not the shampoo?
Thanks.

al

Hi, al.

The practitioners of the allopathic monopoly have no competition so all they have to do is rush you though and collect the money. You deserve a better doc than this.

You apparently react to the Selsun and must not use it.

I believe the Nizoral comes both as a cream and as a shampoo. Both OTC.

Just be sure to use it for at least a month, whichever you choose.

Let us know how you do. It may take years for your skin to get back to normal after the TV is gone. In the meantime, you MUST buff your skin following each shower to remove any dead skin that would give the TV a chance to come back.

Let us know how you do.

Walt
