Dr. Stoll or anyone that can help!
I used to use the tanning salon weekly for several years. Around a year ago I started the skin on my upper chest started developing a bead-like texture. My dermo said that the "beads" are a sign of trauma to the skin like overexposure to the sun. I have not tanned for 8 months because I am treating Tinea Versicolor, however the "beads still remain on my upper chest. The area is also red in color and the "beads" almost look like permanent goose bumps. Will this ever go away? What can I do? Is it the tinea? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Nick.
Something most people do not know: Tanning is a protective mechanism of the skin to RADIATION damage!
ALL radiation damage is permanent and continues to damage long after (a lifetime) the damaging exposure.
Hope this helps.
