Dr. Stoll or anyone with experience with this condition, please
helpe me. I am a 30-year-old Asian female. I have developed light
brown & brownish pink patches on my face over the past 4 months.
Mostly on my cheek bones, both sides of my nose, and right side of
my face. My face looks "blotchy"because of that. Since I believe in
"beauty comes from inside" I eat whole foods, drink mineral water,
practice SR, and all the right things. Stll, there is no improvement.
My husband says that I need sunlight because my face is very pale
and perhaps not getting enough vitamine D. What is your advice?

I am not Walt, but can I just say Please dont expose your face to the sun if you have this problem. It could make it worse, if its something like melasma which pregnant women get, and sometimes women on the BC pill can get it too.

Hi, Discolored.
Listen to Maria and then see a good dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis and let us know what it is. It could be anything from melanasma to vitilego, to TV, to Rosacea, etc.

I just started to work so I won't get a health insurance
for another 3 months. I guess I will have to wait before I
see a doctor. Vitiligo & TV, I thought was WHITE
dicoloration, not brown, am I correct? Mine is not exactly
brown-brown. The patches have no clear border. They
could look like "spots of shadow" or bruise. My skin,
otherwise has no problem except that it can be a little
dry sometimes. No abnormal sensitivity, flakiness, etc.
The surface of the skin is smooth. But it is very pale and
lacks healthy rosy grow. Any idea?

Thanks, Discolored.
"Progresses" to white.
