Hello Doctor Stoll
I posted a message yeasterday asking some questions about TV which I'm suffering for 10 years. I've read your archieve and know how to cure it according your recommandations but I'd like to know the answers of those questions before starting the treatment; would you please respond? There's one more question left. If I haven't put on some of my clothes for a long time(a year or more), should I again sterilize them during the treatment or after it?
Thanks millions,
Nora

Nora,
I do not think sterilizing clothes makes any difference.
What did you learn was my treatment of choice from the archives? Start with the first paragraph.

Hi, dear doc.
I've read all the 'Tinea Versicolor Archives'. There, in reply to Tom(2/29/00)you wrote,"Wash your clothes after each use and use the hottest water possible. If possible, use antibacteria/antifungal laundry soap." and in reply to Jessica(5/23/01) you said,"...you need to not wear ANYTHING twice before thorough laundering in the hottest water." You also emphasized to use a new towel each time to buff the skin and I thought it was because the fungi located on the used towel might be transmitted to the skin again. Now I wonder if I misunderstood or you've changed your view. Another problem is that during my previous treatment I noticed that while smearing an infected area if I touched some healthy part of my skin it turned infected too and in this way more parts of the skin involved. What's your idea?
Thanks for your answers and your help
Nora

Thanks, Nora.
This was meant for those who had done literally EVERYTHING and still had the TV. Basically a stab in the dark.
I do not think it is helpful for 99.9% of people with TV.
Actually, I do not recall this last desperate suggestion ever resolving an extremely resistant case but since it seems to make some sense I am sure I have suggested it to someone.
Hope this helps.
Walt
