TInia Versicolor-Contagious?

I was just wondering if TV is contagious by skin to skin contact or any other way. I don't know how it is contracted or how you get it.

Very difficult to get it from someone else. The spores are ubiquitous in the environment just looking for a favorable place to roost. Not buffing every inch of your skin during bathing and during drying is what allows enough dead skin to accumulate that the fungus can get established.
