I saw on TV where there is a new treatment for vitilego. It is laser surgery which is very effective with almost immediate results. I am from the Philadelphia area and when I called about 10 dermatologists in this are, they knew nothing about it. I also called the University of Penn and they said that they are not performing it. Do you know anything about this, who might be performing this? They actually showed a lady with white spots around her mouth and after the surgery, they were gone.

hi susanne,
i think you are talking about the new XTRAC excimer laser?
go to "photomedex.com" and click on "doctor finder" and enter your state. it will list the docs who have this laser
in your area. i am currently doing it here in maryland and it IS working, but the sessions are around $100 each. some people repigment in a few sessions but some need up to 20 sessions...it's different for everyone...hope it works for you quickly.
i read in the NVF newsletter that some only took 5 or 6 sessions to repigment...but you may need fewer or more...good luck!

Thanks, Greg.
This is a new one on me. I hope everyone who tries this will share their experience with the BB.
