Dr. Stoll-
Do you think ear candling would be beneficial for someone
with TMJ? Would it help someone with sleep apnea problems(my sister)? Thank you for your opinions.

Hi, Dee.
I know next to nothing about ear candling. However, from what I DO know, I would be very doubtful is it could give more that the most fleeting of symptomatic relief.
If anyone knows more about this, I would like to hear it. Also, anyone with either positive of negative experiences with TMJ and candling could share their information with the BB.

I've seen ear candling done a few times. I've even seen the candle burn without being in the persons ear. There was no difference between the "stuff" left over either way. I'm far from convinced that there is any benefit from ear candling so in my humble opinion I don't think it would help either one of those problems.
TMJD-Chiropractic and skilled relaxation.
Sleep Apnea-Skilled relaxation, weight loss if necessary, and I'm not sure what else because those two usually work.
