Dr. Stoll, well I've suddenly noticed in the last month or so that my front teeth do not touch. My molars touch before my front teeth, so that I can't bite down with my front teeth. This has never happened before. I have been relaxing now for 4 months, but I'm afraid that I'm not doing it right. I did have alot of benefits from relaxing in the beginning, though. So is my jaw out of alignment, and can a chiropractor adjust it? I'm not sure how to proceed, but it is really bothering me. Thanks for your help, Aimee

Most of the TMJ problems I have seen have more to do with cervical misalignments. Many times these are from things that skilled relaxation are great at helping. Sometimes they need to be correted and skilled relaxation will keep them from reoccuring.
Chiropractic would be your next logical step in my opinion.
Best wishes.
