Toenail Fungus

Posted by Tonya on May 28, 2002 at 21:58:25:

I have a toenail fungus and want to begin the vinegar treatment. My big toe is thick, discolored and has the "white stuff" underneath it. It has also started to grow crooked, sorta grows to the left now. Just wondering if the vinegar treatment might work for me. I have tried over the counter treatments and have had some liver problems in the past so I do not want to try prescribed medications for this. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!!

Hi, Tonya.

You have as much chance as anyone else for success.

I have had these ugly, thick, smelly toenails for 6 or 7 years. I tried Lamasil orally for 3 months with no change, then tried Penlac with no change, then tried the vinegar with no change either. Had almost given up but recently was told by my doctor that good results were being seen from adding one crushed Lamasil tablet to Fungoid Tincture and applying daily to the toenails.

It has only been 2 weeks and I can definitely see improvement! I now actually have 4 toenails that look normal and my feet aren't stinking to high heavens anymore! I am very excited and thrilled! Fungoid Tincture is only about $18 a bottle and the doctor gave me a prescription for 7 free Lamasil tablets, although it only takes one for the entire bottle. I wish I had found out about this treatment a long time ago, but I think it is a new method.

Give it a try and I hope it works as well for you as it is obviously working for me.

Hi, Fighting.

Since nail tissue is dead, there is no way to change it's appearance from fungus without the nails growing out and that takes 6-12 months.

Let us know how you are doing in that long.
