Foot Fungus

8 Months ago, I went to my Doctor with VERY painfult big toes. He informed me that I had a Fungus Infection and since I am on Medicare, would not be able to afford the medicine. Dropped it right there. Checking online, I found your site and it made sense. Tried it. WORKED. So, I informed my Doctor's Receptionist in case there were others who couldn't afford the medicine. Her retort? "Yes we know and Vicks is another remedy." Apparently, it is a question of whether or not a Doctor is going to treat his Patients or just let them suffer. I have not, and will not pay the Medicare deductible for that last visit. Believe me, that WAS the last visit.

Believe it or not your doctor probably did you a favor
although it doesn't sound as though that is the way it
was presented.

Luckily for you, you found something else that worked
and is safe. Give yourself a pat on the back for that. I
wonder if you had asked if there was something else
you might try, if anyone there would have told you. Did
you complain?

He may not have said it but the antifungals used can
actually be dangerous to your liver and unfortunately
most people, in his experience, with a tendency for
nail/foot fungus get it again-eventually. It's not always
worth the risk to take systemics unless you are in a lot
of pain. That part I can't figure, why they wouldn't give
you samples or something. Maybe he didn't think it
was that bad.

You should proabaly pay your bill-in (small)
installments if you must, but don't go back. It's worth
the money to find out who is good and also who isn't.
And it keeps your karma and your credit intact! You
have to pay your deductible for the year anyway, right?

Performance/Results based medicine-now there is an
idea...

Thanks, Rebekah.

Listen to Patty.

It IS a shame though isn't it? One of the main reasons I donate so much time to this 'site is to try to get this monopolistic, medical/pharmaceutical, runaway monopoly stopped.

Namaste`
