I can offer personal testimony that putting a couple drops of vinegar on a fungus infected toenail each morning and evening for six months, as prescribed on Dr. Stoll's Web site, will cure the problem!
Although a bit skeptical, I meticulously followed the prescribed treatment and, lo and behold, it worked. The new nail growth continued to push the infected nail outward until I was able to entirely remove the discolored portion, leaving me with a nice, clean, toenail...at a total cost of probably less than a quarter's worth of vinegar.

I can tell you too that the vinegar does work. I started last June 2002 with the vinegar treatment after 23 years with toenail fungus! It really works and I even had a little set back in September 2002 when I went for a 4 mile walk for Leukemia and bruised my two big toenails but at Dr. Stoll's suggestion I continued the vinegar treatment and here we are all of my toes are just about clear of the fungus. I have just a very little on about 3 toes. The cost .54 cents for 1 store brand bottle of white vinegar. Thank you Dr. Stoll!

Guys, For those of you that have had success with the vinegar treatment I'm curious as to how long it took before you started noticing results. Thanks.

Hi, Still.
What are your susceptibility factors?

My hair and nails grow pretty fast. I've heard the average for finger nails is 1/4 inch per month and toe nails is 1/8 inch per month. I think I'm right in there. I noticed new growth after about 2 months of applying vinegar morning and evening. I happened to go outside to trim my nails and I could clearly see new growth. Since my nails are so small I figure I have about two months more to go, maybe less. So I guess that still will come out at about the 6 month mark which is what I've read here over and over.

Walt,
I wish I knew! Maybe I've got fungus growing right through me. I don't respond to stress well and try to do SR but I can't see the connection with that. My fungus was as a result of trauma due to the wearing of very ill fitting shoes. The nails came off their beds and that was that.

Thanks, Still.
Get a copy of my book from the library or buy one from amnazon.com link on this 'site. It spells out the susceptibility factors for this condition. So long as you have them onychomycosis is practically impossible to deal with.
