Hi, Joanne (my wife's name).
She had hers for at least 20 years when I finally got her to try the vinegar. As soon as her nails look normal to her she stops the vinegar. With a year they start showing onychomycosis again. She has repeated this dance several times.
I keep suggesting that she keep up the vinegar for a couple of months after her nails look normal but she is not yet ready to do THAT.
ALL known treaments work for some people and not for others. I guess the vinegar is just one of them. The human genome project will eventually put an end to that: We will be able to predict, ahead of time, which treatment will work for which person without their having to try it first.

I think that other factors can be contributing to nail fungas. Diet may have an effect on this. In my case, I reduced dary and suger in my diet and have notice a big improvement. I also use the vinagar treatment two times a day.
First thing I did was get Walt's book. That allone as made a big differnce.
