I have a question. It is only the last quarter inch of my toenails that seem to be infected. I can't understand how vinegar which is suppose to support the outgrowth of a healthy fungus free nail can effect my toenail fungue. It appears to me that on a hot day where climatic conditions are at a maximum for the fungus...the fungus seems to work its way backwards into the unaffected part of the nail. In other words, it appears that the healthy part of the nail is being effected. If this is true -- how can the vinegar ever solve the problem? It seems I start to make progress and than a hot day comes along and the fungus has moved down the nail again. Any suggesions?
Thanks for your time in answering this question.

I have been treating my toe nails since July and I haven't saw any difference in mine either. Onaly I have been using tea tree oil on mine, they say it is suppose to just as good just more expensive. So think you will go to tree tea oil because it cost a lot more to use than vinegar.

Hi, Liz.
The presence of vinegar, at the site of the production of nail, produces nail that is resistant to the fungus. So, when that nail gets to the end of your toe your chances of it being gone, as you keep trimming your nail that was NOT formed that way finally leaves you with a normal nail that is resistant, is greatly improved.
Hope this helps.

Connie,
ANY trial needs to be done at LEAST 6 months.
