This is a followup...I started the distilled vinegar application in late April 2003, and I would say I should be at a "cure" level in about 2-3 months...so the one year projections are about right...I tried Lamisil which my Dr prescribe...wirh total disaster only after one week....eye problems with it...
Stick with the vinegar....it WORKS..!!

Hi, John.
Thank you for the encouragement. I started the vinegar treatment in September 2003 (also on the toenails). There is overall improvement, and I'm beginning to see clear, new growth. It's barely visible, but it's there. My dermatologist tried more than once to get me started on the Lamisil, but I refused.
Thanks again,
Sylvia

Sylvia,
The Lamisil played havoc with my eyes after only 5-7 days...they hurt so bad, watered, and puffed up...I got scared......I stopped taking it, and in about 4-5 days I felt much better...then I stareted the vinegar treatment...and I'm absolutely ecstatic.....
Take Care.,
John

John,
That's too frightening. I refused to take the Lamisil after my doctor told me I needed to have my liver monitored while on the medication. I didn't know about potential vision problems until I read some of the archives. You're very fortunate. I'm sure it could have been much worse.
I'm very happy on the vinegar treatment myself. Glad you're almost there. What a success story. I mean you've got your vision, and soon you'll be completely rid of the infected portion of your toenail(s).
Thank you again for sharing.
Sylvia

Thanks, John.
Now if only distilled vinegar was expensive enough to be able to afford to advertize it on TV...............

Sylvia,
I think I was pretty fortunate in having enough sense to get off of it as soon as I thought there was a problem....
The vinegar is working just fine.....as Dr Stoll m,entioned...it should be "gone" in about 2 more months, but continue the vinegar for about an additional 2 months after that.....
Take Care,
John
