Selsun blue 2.5% question

Hello,

Would it be safe to shampoo with selsun 2.5 % in the jock / groin area, as i get very itchy in this area and am looking to control this.


any alternatives would be greatly appreciated, the scratching is hard to get rid of by the way.

need some advice folks

Check the bottle to see if there are steroids included, if so I wouldn't.

Hi, Larry.

It would just be "the luck of the draw" if this actually worked without causing an inflammmatory and hypersensitive reaction.

If you are going to do something "blind" your best bet would be to just try one of the OTC antifungal creams twice a day for a month.

There are many different kinds of fungal species that can cause this kind of problem and the selsun really is only best for TV which doesn't cause this kind of problem.
