I had a toenail fungus. My MD prescribed Lamisil and stated that I would not see any results for months. After a few days I broke out in a ton of hives and had to stop taking Lamisil. Went on the net to see what else was out there. Some home remedy sight suggested I swab my toe with apple cider vinegar. What the heck? I did that twice a day. After about 3 months I can say my toenail is back to it's original color, growing out and no sign of the fungus. Surprised the heck out of me. Maybe it's the acid in the vinegar but I don't care. Cost was next to nothing and it actually worked.

I used white vinegar twice a day for a year before my toenail fungus looked ok. I am still using it because I don't want to get it again. I used about two drops at the base of my nail morning and night.Hope you don't get it back.

Maybe it is the acid in the vinegar then. I put the vinegar in a small spray bottle and liberally sprayed the toe twice a day.

Thanks, David.
The shame is that this is such a surprise! If it were not for the allopathic monopoly, this inexpensive and perfectly safe remedy would be common knowledge!
