After 2 weeks of vinegar+peroxide soaking (twice daily), I found this site and proceeded with the distilled vinegar only treatment (couple of drops 2-3x a day).
Affected toes, 3 on left foot, 1 on right.
Believed that I saw some improvement in big toe of left foot after about 2 months, but none since.
After 6 months of religiously applying this treatment to all 10 toes, I do not believe that this treatment is working for me.
Is there something that I need to do to make my cuticles more porous, perhaps?
Debating attempting the Tea Tree Oil regimen, but I’m still having trouble believing that something applied topically is “incorporated into new cells”… anyone care to reply?

Do you change your socks everyday? (Maybe you should even change them during the day.) Do you wash them in hot water with bleach? Did you buy new shoes and discard the old? I found when I was starting to get healthy feet, that when I put my feet into my old shoes, that I started to get that tingling feeling... I threw out all my shoes. Bought all new shoes. During the summer months, I only wear sandals. As it starts getting cold, I need to be more shoes. I bought ozonated olive oil on ebay and apply that every 12 hours, just like I do the vinegar. I keep that in place with a bandaid. It seems to be working. And I have a 30+ year old fungal infection!

See my prior post. I religiously applied to all affected toes (8 out of 10), for 6-7 months and had essentially eliminated all factors, which would have predisposed my feet to repeat fungal problems, all to no avail.

Hi, Todd.
Are you aware that 3 times a day is less effective than twice, for the vinegar?
You MAY be one that this does not work for but I would suggest doing it right before giving up on it. If it does not work, I would next suggest tea tree oil--as directed.
Anything applied to the point where nail first appears is incorporated into the growing cells of the nail.
Let us know how you do.

What does the base of the toe nail look like? Does it have any fungus there?
