Toenail Fungus & Vinegar Drop Treatment

I have been battling toenail fungus for years with a mix of different home remedies. vick's, tea tree oil, vinegar + beer + acidiophilus, some over the counter products, etc.

I have just recently begin vinegar soaks but came across your vinegar drop treatment.

However, I am curious about the dropping method. I went to the store & purchased a dropper bottle but when I attempt to apply 2 drops of vinegar at the growing base of the nail, the vinegar just sits there beaded up & many times just rolls off the toenail onto the ground.

Is there some secret to this method? I just don't see how this is more effective than 30 min. vinegar submersion soaks. 2 drops is definitely quicker, but is it going to work & more importantly will it stay on the toe.

Based on the first attempts, I would have to place the vinegar drops on my toes & then sit there still for who knows how long so as to not knock the drops off my toes.

What I do is I sit on the bed or sofa, with my legs straight out. I think it's important for your toes to remain still for a few minutes, so hopefully the vinegar will seep into the cuticle of the toenail and into the part of the nail that is being formed. It doesn't take long. And when you do it before you go to bed, you just remain with your feet up anyway, so that's not a big time waster...

Dr. Stoll has mentioned in the past there are cracks in the nails that the vinegar will find and penetrate. Others have put the drops on and moved them a long the base. The key is not to put too much if I remember his words correctly.

Duf (& Ramen, Jayne & Ellen).

Just put the drops on and, unless you immediately flood the area with water, it is impossible for it to not get where it is needed. NOTHING needs to be done to "make sure it gets where it is needed"!

Hope this helps.

Walt
