Thanks in advance for those responding to this question. I don't mean too seem difficult here, but I just don't get this vinegar treatment method. I understand the theory behind the treatment but the actual treatment itself just doesn't make practical sense to me.
I have attempted on several occasion to place drops of vinegar at the growing base of my toenails.(I have fungus on all toenails). The vinegar just sits there beaded up on top of my toenail until it rolls off. I can't see how this does any good.
I would think the vinegar would need to soak into the nail base & surrounding skin in order to effect the growing portion of the nail that day.
As a result I have been soaking my toes in vinegar about 30 minutes a day instead, however it would be quicker & simpler to just do the 2 drop vinegar method.
Can someone please give me a sense of how this drop method is supposed to work if the vinegar just rolls off your toes.

Walt has said that a q-tip holds a perfect amount. So just run that back and forth along the base of the toenail. Voila!

D,
One more time:
If you understood the anatomy of the area, you would know that it is IMPOSSIBLE for not enough vinegar to alter the pH of the growing area, sufficiently to change the resistance of the nail matrix to fungal invasion, within a few seconds of placing the recommended amount of vinegar on this area.
Theoretically, you could use anything close to that amount and immediately wipe it off and STILL it would work if it ever was going to work. The timing (every 12 hours) is a lot more important than the amount. Soaking like you are doing can actually be counter productive because you are keeping the nail moist with 96% water.
There are microscopic cracks in the area that immediately suck up the vinegar (or anything else you might put on the area).
Get a magnified picture of the growing area of the nail and see what I am talking about.
Hope this helps.
Walt

I don't understand how it works, I just know that it does. I had a nasty infection on one toenail that wouldn't go away. Every morning and evening, I would push the cutical back and drop a capful of vinegar over the nail. Within one month i started to see new healthy nail growing. After 6 months of treatment, my fungal infection is GONE. I've been germ-free for another 6 months since. Thanks Walt!

I'm sorry, but if you don't understand, I have lost my patience. Not sure what more that can be said. After all you were told, you ignored everyone and did exactly what you wanted to do.
I'm not sure you are a real person. I believe you are deliberately trying to test people.
People were honestly trying to help a person they thought needed help.
Whatever. Good luck with whatever approach you choose and enjoy your soaking technique and let us know how it works.
