Re: Nail fungus and warts

Dear Donna,

Thank you for the testimonial about the nail fungus & vinegar. I am sure you can see why it is not advertized. Who benefitted from your having this information? ONLY YOU!

I do npt believe that the vinegar would have any effect against warts. One of the embarassing secret knowledges of the conventional medical monopoly is that self-hypnosis is the most effective approach to recurrent & multiple warts. This has been known by MDs for more than 100 years but the allopathic monopoly has harassed hypnosis nearly out of existance because mainly non-MDs know how to do it and that is considered competition to the monopoly.

Another thing for her to know is that no one has this problem without their immune system being low. LOTS is now known about how any individual can improve their own immunity (AIDS research) but little filters down to the public since nearly everything is stuff that doesn't require a prescription or advice from a licensed physician--
competition again.

If you think she might be willing to learn a lot and put in a lot of effort improving her lifestyle, let me know & I will help point her in the right direction. It is just that a lot of people would sooner die than learn anything new & I don't want to waste my time if she is still looking for a "treatment".

What are the risks of lamisil? Does it really work for toenail fungus?

Dear T.R.,

Nothing works as well as the distilled vinegar described on this link: Fungus Infections of the Feet.

All other treatments are promoted because they are expensive and under the control of the conventional medical monopoly. They are not only not as effective but are dangerous in their own right.

Both of my nails on my big toe have become very thick and are cutting into the side of my skin, causing a lot of pain. I have tried to cut them, but the nail is so thick that the nail clippers aren't wide enough to cut the nail. Is this fungus? If so, what can I do for it.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Does the distilled vinegar treatment used for toenail fungus also work for athlete's foot?

Dear Tusch,

This IS fungus. Go to Fungus Infections of the Feet for what to do for the toenails.

To prevent recurrence, you would need to get a copy of my book (link on this page). There are several chapters that bear on this problem.

By the way, you will be 6-12 months getting back to normal nails. You would be smart to see a good Podiatrist in the meantime (especially if you are a diabetic).

Filing is an option is you are not diabetic.

In addition to toenail fungus I also had a lot of scaley skin on my left foot - sort of like athletes foot gone beserk without the itching. I started soaking both feet in warmed white vinegar (the cheap store brand) and in two applications a week apart I now have baby smooth feet with no re-occurence. I now use the vinegar monthly as a preventative. There was some improvement at first with the toenail fungus, but it was not long lasting probably since I didn't apply it daily. I had to use the prescription drug Sporanox to get rid of the toenail fungus but it still tries to re-occur. Its difficult remembering to apply vinegar drops each and every day - but I'l try it.

Dear NAmerica,

There are several chapters in my book dedicated to answering your good questions. Since it would take me several hours typing, to answer your questions adequately, I hope you will use the archives & my book to save me the time.

Dear Carl,

The only thing different between the vinegar & the sporonax is the cost. If you read the chapter in my book, you would understand how this all works & WHY you may be susceptible (you have to know that or ANYTHING you use will allow for recurrence).

ANYTHING you use for less than a couple of months longer than it takes YOU to grow a totally new nail will not be permanently effective. ANY doses (or applications) missed will assure recurrence. Until you understand why this is, you will not likely resolve this & you will still be "struggling" 20 years from now.

There are lots of people who are just too lazy to learn what they have to know to resolve this. Of course, that is why there are so many different treatments and so many docs willing to cash in on that human foible. I hope you are not one of these. If you are, don't bother learning, just put this information to the side and get back to it when you ARE serious.

I am not here to get you to like me. I AM here to open doors for those willing to walk through them.

I have a toenail fungus on both of my big toes. I have never had one before and got it from a tanning bed. The Dr. gave me this medicine called Fungoid Tincture and some pills to put in it. They said it should take up to a year to work. That is crazy...isn't there any other way. It is summer and my toes look ugly and I want to get rid of this! It makes my toenail black...gross! What should I do? Have any suggestions?

Dear Holly,

You COULD have your toenails removed surgically. Of course, THAT wouldn't look so good either. THERE IS NOTHING THAT WILL KILL TOENAIL FUNGUS. ALL treatments only keep the fungus from growing into the toenail tissue that was formed that day. That is why ANY treatment MUST be done every day, twice a day. If any time is missed, the nail that formed that day will not be resistent to the fungus & the 6-12 months treatment may have to be started all over again. This magic length of time is just how long it takes for the individual to grow off the infected tissue.

The vinegar treatment (listed on the home page for this 'site) is as effective as any prescribed (and very expensive treatment). However, unless you understand why you have to do it like you do, most people will still be treating this 10-20 years later.

If you are interested in learning why YOU have it (unless you do, even when it is gone, it will just come back) you would benefit from reading a copy of my book which has several chapters dedicated to this wonderful example of the power of patient education (link on this page).

Even if you have your nails removed surgically, you will still have to prevent the fungus from reinfecting the new nail. That will take about 3 months during which you will have to be just as diligent at treating EVERY 12 hours. SO, you will save 3-6 months of treatment by having your nails removed.

I have the dreaded fungus on the large and small toes of my left foot. Being recently afflicted, I have not heard of all the remedies, although I am naturally pulled toward quick, cheep and painless.

I have heard and am trying applying Hydrogen Peroxide twice daily, following immediatley with Isopropyl Alchohol, and I believe I am seeing positive results, although it has only been about 2 months.

Has anyone else tried this with positive results?

Dear Hector,

Go to the link Fungus Infections of the Feet

That will take care of your nail fungus. However, it will not take care of the foot skin fungus. You will need to read the chapter in my book (link on this page) to understand how to eliminate (and prevent recurrence) of this problem.

Please share your experiences with the bb participants, as you get well, so others might be able to help themselves.

Toe Nail Fungus

Posted by Cindy Fisk on May 28, 1998 at 19:20:20:

Hello,

I have read with interest your postings on using vinegar for toe nail fungus. I have been using Tee Tree & Lavendar Oil topically and Silicea 6x internally for about 2 weeks. I will also try the vinegar.

I have had this fungus for awhile but it was diagnosed about a month ago. I have not had this type of pain before. My pain is in one spot at the top left of the toe. I think maybe I have an ingrown toe nail that is causing this particular intense pain and not necessarily the fungus. Any suggestions on what to do?

Thanks to you,
Cindy

Dear Cindy,

Ingrown toenails have to be at the edges of the nail not at the "top" as you describe.

Are you sure that you do not have diabetes? If you are not sure, be sure to get at least a 2 hour after meal blood sugar. Your lab would know what to tell you to eat.

I would see a good podiatrist for diagnosis before letting something like that (which could be serious) get away with you.

The topical vinegar will be more effective than anything you can take internally. I have seen topical tea tree oil work too but it is a lot more expensive than distilled vinegar.

I have had toenail fungus in my big toe for almost two years now. It doesn't hurt but I do want to get rid of it. Are there any suggestions? I have seen my doctor on it several times and he doesn't seem to think that it is a problem. I would really like to get rid of it though. If you could give me some advice that would be great. Thank you.
