Dear dr.
I Have a Three year old little boy who when he was 4mo old had a severe reaction to his dpt vaccination,(shock and collapse.) Thank god he has no problems from this episode, he was hospitilized for a short period of time.
He now has been diagnosed with absence seizures, and is going through a series of tests, he has developed normally and has no other neurologic symptoms. My question is could this be due to the problem he had with his dpt shot at 4mo.
I am a registered nurse, and believe all children should be vaccinated, but before this is done, the parents need to fully educated. thanks Debbie Stoner

Dear Debbie,
Certainly his present condition could be related to the reaction.
I have extensively researched the pros & cons of conventional immunization and cannot decide (without reservations) on either side. We developed an 11 page summary from the world literature that we gave out to patients seeking the facts.
MY question is: Why does not the allopathic monopoly in this country share with patients the success of Homeopathic immunization throughout the world? NO side effects. No long term complications AND equivalent effectiveness! The problem seems to be that professionals other than a licensed physician can provide these immunizations & thus are terrible competition to the conventional medical monopoly.
This system is supposed to be about the welfare of the public NOT the welfare of the AMA.
