Hello Dr. Stoll (and everyone else),
As some may know from my previous posts, among Candida, LGS, hypoglycemia, I have "dealt" with symptoms of vertigo. Not true spinning sensations, but more balance oriented symptoms (although just as fun). This condition has affected my life a great deal including not being able to work for four months last year and the inability to go into many buildings because of the visually busy environments that would cause my symptoms to kick in. I am SO grateful.
I have practiced successful SR for approx. 8 weeks now, and have noticed a substantial improvement in my vertigo symptoms. I can't really contribute this continued improvement to anything but the SR, as I haven't had a massage or cranio sacral therapy in weeks. Before SR, I would have some good days where the symptoms were there, but I could live with them. However, this is the second week in a row where I have had consistent improvement with these symptoms. I am extremely encouraged by these results! Like many others, this condition can bring one's world to a screeching halt, so I am very relieved to have been given the knowledge to help in the healing of this frustrating condition.
I very much look forward to the other conditions (listed above) improving as well! :)

I have suffered from vertigo for over 9 years. After extensive searching and going through a horrible ear test that actually makes you dizzer, I finally found the root of my vertigo. Dairy products!!!! I went off all dairy products at least for 3 weeks straight and had absolutely no vertigo.I used to have vertigo so bad I'd be throwing up in the bathroom for a day at a time. I can now have dairy on occassion and as long as it is maybe one item a week. One thing that is good for vertigo that takes a day or two to kick in is the drug Meclizine. I do not take it very often any more, it was not addicting. It does make you sleepy after your system gets use to it. Don't drive until you have that figured out. I take Meclizine straight. I don't use Dramamine or the other ones.
Your Hypoglycemia, the public library has wonderful books out there. Orange juice is good for it. Don't drink pop or eat potatoe chips. You'll get a rush of sugar and then crash. Starches break down into sugar and also wreck havic. Keep a can of juice or a tub of un-open tub of frosting in your car or purse when you are about. EMT's in Washington State use that to help people with low blood sugar.Good Luck

Sorry about bad spelling, it's late!

Thanks, Danette.
Your persistance has paid off. Congratulations. This is an example of your having transcended the simplistic paradigm the AMA would like all of us to adhere to: Vertigo is a dysfunction of the labyrinth (the inner ear) so any treatment MUST be directed at the ear.
Just seeing how you did this is vindication of the efforts I have dedicated to this BB!
Namaste`

Hello Danette,
Thanks for the information. It sounds as if you were dealing with vertigo in the true sense of the word. I would get weird balance sensations stimulated by visual surroundings quite frequently, and never really any spinning. Either way....quite disconcerting! However, I did notice an extreme increase in symptoms when my stress level increased.
In re: to hypoglycemia, I went on a complete starch free diet, and have NOT had any simple sugar items in years. During the 2 months I was on this diet, I was still lightheaded and weak every hour or so. Cutting out simple sugars and starch did not seem to make ANY difference in how I felt physically. This was very strange for me, and I didn't think that it really followed a classic low blood sugar pattern. I have also read many books regarding hypoglycemia, but have never really found much information that I didn't already know myself from first hand experience at having this condition for almost 10 years.
Hopefully, as I continue using the tools I have been given, this frustrating condition with improve with time. I'm sure the LGS and Candida aren't helping matters much! :)
Thanks again for your post...
