I've experienced sore breasts up to 2 weeks prior to period.

I did when I was not on a wellness program or when I was for diet/exercise but not addressing my stress (SR) -
I've found a healthy diet, cutting salt and caffine, adding Cal/Mag and at least 800mg vitamin E does wonders.
Last month, as many know per my complaints de jour, I was more off the wellness wagon than usual. I posted here, as usual - to my wellness virtual pals, and also called my beloved GYN (beloved because he saved my life once and he's quite holistic - and let's me "cheat" with cuban coffee from time to time LOL) in any case, he had me cut ALL caffine for 24 hours, go back to just ONE cup a day, and told me to take an extra 400 mg of E...and a lot of Water. he also told me I should take a walk or do yoga (jogging could aggravate me, as I'm a 34dd) and lo and behold, in less than 24 hours, no pain at all. ...and this pain was achy and bad - even in my armpits! Yech! My suggestion to you - ascertain your stress and deal with it through exercise and SR - take a look at your diet and add cal mag/ E - and increase water. You should feel better. It may however, take 2-3 months of this before you really reap the benefits.

That doesn't seem like enough caffine to make your breasts sore. Its usually a much larger amt. How old are you? Have you had any extra stress lately that would change your period some? Stress, diet, and pre menapause can bring on some changes in your period.
