Hi Dr. Stoll and All,
My sisters, mother, and I all have issues relating to LGS and Candida and none of them have wanted to listen to anything that I've tried to teach them about wellness. Both of my sisters take birth control pills, along with daily doses of Prilosec and Acifex for their GERD, ibuprofen for their joint pain, and Ativan for their anxiety. After months of trying to show them how I was making changes in my life (Three-Legged Stool) and how they were affecting me so positively, I've finally gotten them both off the birth control pills, they're doing the Ginger Juice in place of the Prilosec and Acifex, and taking a little time every day to RELAX! I'm hoping that once all three of us are healthy maybe, just maybe, we can get our mom off her allopathic road to hell with her RA and ulcers!
You were so right, Dr. Stoll, in your advice to me months ago. By setting a wellness example, my family has now started to follow. Instead of calling their doctor when they get a recurrent yeast infection or recurrent rash, only to be put on antibiotics or pay $38 for a single pill of Diflucan - they call me first! Your book is now making the rounds with them, too. I'm hoping we can do some kind of group skilled relaxation in the future - I might have to work a little while on that one, though! I've learned so much from you, Dr. Stoll, and from everyone who participates on this board. I sincerely thank you all.
I'm sure all of you with LGS can understand my excitement. You really savor even the little successes on the road to wellness for yourself, and your family.
I am curious if anyone has tried skilled relaxation in a group environment, and if it is better than working alone? Any thoughts or advice?
Thanks so much!

Thanks, Mary Margaret and congratulations!
By the way, group SR is normally more powerful than solitary SR. The electromagnetic fields, surrounding each individual (vibes), influence each participant.
Kep up the good work and let us know what happens.
Namaste`
