I thought they said, that No One had any immunity to bird flu. BBC said that 45% are. Starting to think that it is just the same old flu, and they are trying to make Big bucks off it.
They said you have to take Tamiflu withing the first hr of catching the flu for it to be effective. That is impossible, unless you stay on it, or know when you catch the flu.

For what it's worth, my daughter has a client that works for the CDC. She said, that they have known about the "bird flu" for years and that we're at no risk. She also says that they have no idea why it's now all over the news.
Hmmm

I think they like to keep the people scared. it makes them act like sheep. Like HIV causing AIDS, which I don't buy. People make a Lot of money. Like after 9-11 and anthrax. Everyone was buying the antibiotic, but they didn't tell them in NYC that the air wasn't safe to breathe. Especially the workers at ground zero, but then the EPA said that they didn't have the ability to test it after saying it was safe. LOL...

They say IV Vitamin C and/or IV h2o2 will reverse Bird Flu and I'd bet it would.
I too think it's a big scam, scare tactic.

kids who have been in contact with the chickens and farmers working with them have been the people killed. there's definitely a connection and the number of cases are increasing and it's spreading westwoods. how can the same old flu affect only farmers and kids working on farms with chickens? just coincidence?
there is a big cost to this, not just profit. farmers livelihoods are being taken away. the UN has secured donations from countries of roughly $2bn. sales of tamiflu are expected to hit $1bn. you do the math there lol. i don't think it's a money-making scheme. though i understand wariness when it comes to UN and such, i'm sure there's a lot of corruption.

Hi Vince,
What Wondering said (about them knowing about it for years) is public information and that very few people have been affected in the many years it's been around is public info too.
The info at CDC's website doesn't indicate an immediate bird-flu threat.
And what Chris said is true too...the only people affected so far have had contact with the birds.
What you posted here sounds like a Tamiflu marketing scheme to me.

I just re-read your post and caught what I missed before.

i read the reason children are the main victims is because they live on farms, playing amongst the chickens etc. their parents have no knowledge of bird flu and i'm sure hygiene is not considered much. so imagine birds everywhere and kids eating, picking their nose and whatever else they do. sounds like an easy way to pick up a virus. in one family 2 kids died and another survived. maybe he had a stronger immune system. but unless the government killed these kids on this farm themselves, i can't sniff much of a conspiracy here.

Maybe they should just "kill two birds with one stone" and start making Nacho Flavored Bird Seed with Cayenne Pepper added :>

Hey Skippy:
Birds love hot spices. I once tried to discourage birds from eating newly planted grass seeds by sprinkling hot pepper flakes all over the lawn. Those birds ate the grass seeds AND the hot pepper flakes. They seemed to love the stuff. I don't think they can feel the sting on their tongues:-)

Vince,
"Bird Flu" will not get here until next year. This gives plenty of time for EVERYONE to raise their immunity so it will not be a problem even if one should get it. Even conservative conventional medical experts are beginning to admit that the best protection is "wellness". Of course participants of this BB has known that for 10 years.

Walt, Then they throw in the Cytokine Strom, which they say is what makes the healthier people (20-40yr old) more suceptable, because it uses their immune systems to do them in. So being healthy isn't supposed to be a good thing. Makes it sound like a weaker system is safer.

I think the 1918 flu was a rare event, when the flu crossed from birds to humans, and now All of them do, and humans have a good bit of immunity. The Flu in 58' and 68' were said to be Bad. 55 & 35K people died, but Every yr 35K people die, so what is SO dangerous about this New strain? 50mil will die ??? Now either someone is lieing or doesn't know the facts. Do 40% have immunity or NONE? That's a BIG difference!! My guess is 90% do, just like every other flu that comes down the pike.

yea, I can't watch all the birds that are being killed. Not that I don't eat them, but it SURE looks like a waste, and then heraing that 90% of some fish stocks might be depleted, and GM crops aren't supposed to be good, and I can't eat them without problems, I wonder if we will have anything to eat in a few yrs?

how many people who raise birds die every yr? In the areas where they have been dieing, from whatever cause, I don't think health care is very good, OR their ability to diagnose. SARS was supposed to kill a Lot of people, and the chinese didn't do what they should, and hid the facts, and SARS didn't go anywhere. I think when there is a panic, every death could be claimed for it. Does HIV really cause AIDS? Many don't believe it, and claim there is No proof, but the co's that make the drugs that were too leathal to treat cancer, are making a fortune off an Unusable drug, and some experts claim, it Causes AIDS.

yea, birds aren't bothered by hot pepper, only mammals are. I don't think birds produce saliva. Maybe that's why they don't feel the heat.

The potential cytokine storm is the dilemna but I personally don't think weakening the immune system is the answer; I also don't know what the answer is. Until I find a better idea I plan to use anti-flu herbs along with an immune system booster herb to fight the flu (any flu or cold). Sometime back I had a health store employee with a massive cold stand next to me and give me the cold germs; I immediately went home, took olive leaf extract and the cold germs were about 90% gone in three hours; I could tell by the cold germ dieoff that I had breathed in a massive cold germ load. I also took digestive enzymes to digest the germ dieoff and it seemed to work. Mike-S

so you think when the cause of death is identified as bird flu it's a conspiracy?
what other reason for death can there be for 2 young siblings raised on a farm?

don't know the quality of health care in rural asia. May be as Bad as in the US. A 35yr old Dr got a heart attack from taking Celebrex, and the drug co's are being sued.
The top S.Korean stem cell researcher has admited he faked the research and had to step down.
Can you believe the FDA, CDC, NIH? I Don't Think So..
The drug co's talk about how much it costs Them to bring a drug to market, when Most the the research is done by universities supported by NIH grants, which is taxpayers money, and then the drug co's get patents so no one else can make the drugs, for 7 yrs, until they make a slight change, and get an extension on the patents. Then they sell the drugs to Other countries for Half the price they Charge US customers, Even Medicare, the govt healthcare system, and the govt Won't allow Medicare to bargain for lower prices, so Smart US customers get drugs from Canada, which the US govt and drug co's want to stop, claiming you can't be sure of the quality. It's ALL a game... You can believe things like bird flu or AIDS are dangerous or not. It Doesn't matter except what it costs you, and Not in health, except for fear and stress, but in $$$.
Same thing with WMD's in Iraq. None There, but it cost and IS costing a LOT to look. What do they say, Follow the Money...

Cayenne may be great stuff for some ailments but IMHO it wouldn't be powerful enough for bird flu, anthrax, SARS, etc. For these you would need to get out the big guns IMHO.
I had to stop taking cayenne. I got too much heat in me last summer and was sweating too much. Seemed to help me circulation for a while, then I got too hot.

only way to know what cayenne could do, would be to test it. It doesn't take much to cure what it has in me, and that is every infection I have used it on, internal or external, and it works incredibly fast. I never noticed any benefit in circulation, like for BP, which some claim, so I use other things for that.

That's good that you use cayenne and have got a lot of benefit out of it. Natural remedies are best IMHO.
It also seemed to stimulate me last summer while taking it, then I got too hot and have not used it since. It may be sluggish liver I have that caused that to happen.

I usually only use hot pepper for digestion wise is to spice food, though it cured 2 dogs digestive problems. It will send my esophagus into spasms if I use too much, or it is too hot like habaneros, and make me hiccup. I have to go easy, especially with the habs.
Just had a friend use it for a sinus problem that he said felt like an open sure up his nose. He put some dry cayenne on an anteseptic cream and applied it, and he said he couldn't stand the heat. I have told him before to make nose drops. He finally did and the problem went away in a few hrs.

Doves are glorified pigeons and they carry lots of yucky diseases...
And I do believe the bird flu is spreading a lot from other birds (besides chickens).
