I am a Kindergarten teacher and just had my tonsil out 3 weeks ago. I had them removed originally 30 years ago when I was 5 and one grew back.
When I was 21, I had malignant melanoma on my right shoulder blade and had to have lymph nodes removed from under my right arm. I had strep A 7 times in 7 months before I had my surgery. I have strep A (all confirmed positive by lab results) again, after the tonsillectomy. My question is why am I getting it so often and is there link between my lymph nodes being removed and my constant recurrence of strep throat? Please help me I am desperate and need your help! I also have 3 small kids who need me and I can't go on like this.

Julie,
There's much info in the archives or you may want to read the book offered on this site.
Your lymph nodes are part of your lymph system ( the sewer system ) of your body. When this system becomes over loaded your lymph nodes swell and sickness is the result. Start on the 3LS and you will get well.

Julie,
Listen to Steve. Your history screams "help me" from your immune system.
Your first thing to do is learn how to enhance your immune system and his suggestions are the first thing to do for that.
Let us know what you learn and how you do.
