1835 SIEBEN is a 4-player MEDIUM-paced game:
  1. Mark Marychurch and his alternative email address
  2. Josh Lewis
  3. Stefan Bleeck
  4. Eyal Mozes

In this game we are playing using the Forced Pass variant:

  1. When a player buys from the second row, he is required to pass on his next turn, unless all of the start packet has been bought by then. (Note that by "second row" I mean the row that is *currently* the second one, i.e. when there's still one item available on the row above it.)
  2. Player 1 is always required to pass on his second turn; player 2 is always required to pass on his third turn; player 3 on his 4th turn; etc. until the entire start packet has been bought.
  3. These required passes are not cumulative. E.g., if player 2 buys from the second row on his second turn, he still has to pass only once on his third turn. However, if, e.g., player 2 buys from the second row on his *first* turn, he will need to pass twice (on his second turn because he bought from the second row last turn; on his third turn because he's player 2).
  4. These required passes don't count towards ending the stock round; i.e. the stock round only ends after everybody has voluntarily passed.
  5. When a player voluntarily passes, he gets a pass credit, allowing him to avoid a required pass later.
  6. If the entire second row has been bought, the rows collapse, with the third row becoming the second one.
  7. As soon as the last item from the start packet is bought, player order is re-randomized. The player to buy the last start packet item is last, and everybody else's places are randomly re-assigned.
Rick Westerman's eight supplemental pbem 1835 rules are also in effect.
