Hi Sapph, You're very welcome. It always amazes me that sometimes the smallest gestures can have the biggest impact. I'm glad to hear that you felt such positive differences. I like the fact that it balances the hemispheres in one's brain.

As far as style goes, the most popular is the one where they hold one nostril closed, breath through the other, and then immediately after releasing in the opposite nostril, they breath in through that same nostril. Then, after breathing in, pinch that nostril, and let it out the other. Breath in through the same one you just released from, and switch over to release from the opposite. After a while the pattern becomes ingrained quite well.

The style I learned the other night involves holding a nostril, breathing in through the other, then immediately closing breathed in nostril, and breath out through the opposite. This pattern means you are always breathing in through the same nostril, and out through the opposite nostril. When you have done this enough on one side, close up the other nostril, and do the breathing in from the other side (releasing from it's opposite). I have been doing this style lately, and finishing it off with the style that I first described.

Did you know that ANB is how Hillary Clinton coped with her loss and ours...if you know what I mean.

Another good breathing technique is called "breath of fire". It's a panting breath with the mouth closed. It's great for purifying blood.
