and a movie

I just started reading the Clinton/Patterson book. Of course, it's a fictional president, but it gives the author(s) a chance to imply good arguments for the kinds of answers a prez might give to a gov committee. Must be satisfying, but also makes sense. Well written and thought out with a nice bit of humor, so far.

As to a good prez movie-- I love "My Fellow Americans" a buddy movie with two ex-prez's (one from each party, both with good lines) running for their lives from the current (fictional) admin. They learn to respect each other.
Funny, heartwarming, great performances by Jack Lemon and James Garner with a small but good supporting role ex-first lady in Lauren Bacall.
Dorothy saves their lives twice- once with a little help from his/her friends, once with his sniper rifle.
