dress code for parents

I'm fairly anti-dress code for students- I think a simple directive like, "keep it G-rated" would suffice

As for giving orders to parents? Seems like a power grab.

I dress modestly in skirts, but I've worked for a place where we were welcome to wear leggings. I wouldn't, but it's kinda normal clothing these days, and many of my colleagues did so. So, at the school in question- they couldn't go directly to school from work if they had a conference- they'd be expected to go home and CHANGE?

The article says the parents' dress code is for events as well.

So much for running from work to see your kids' play or game.
