Please explain why/how people die from the flu?

Sorry my english is not good...

I have heard several cases of children infected with h1n1 and not seeming to serious, suddenly collapsing and dying in toronto. Can somebody please explain how the flu kills? I know that pnemonia is one complication but alot of these children's parents said they seemed fine until they collapsed!!!

Can DR. Stoll recommend a protocol to follow in these scary times. I want to suppliment my self and my family. I do not want the vaccine as it may have mercury and I have had reactions to the substance in the past.
