It's that time of year; leaves are falling and my allergies are up as
usual. However, I also got a rescue dog - a chihuahua but Could be a
chihuahua mix.... anyway, I already have a shitzu mix and another
chihuahua... never had an issue.
I am not sure if it is the dog or allergies or I am fighting something
but I am getting itchy eyes periodically, feeling congestion in my
chest a little, sneezing once in a while. All of it is "periodic" - it IS
daily but there is no rhyme or reason it seems.
I have had times where I've laid down and fell asleep with the dog
near me and had no problems while laying or upon waking for even
hours... so I hope it is not this dog.
I'm in eastern PA, and the weather isn't grand right now - goes from
sunny and hot to damp rainy in the course of hours it seems
(suburban philly)....
OR is this just me fighting flu de jour.. (a lot of colds/virus going
around with congestion).
I know that no one can say for sure but based upon what I say, in my
gut you KNOW I want this to be "no the dog is fine".
**FYI the dog has three legs. I was not in the market for another dog
but saw him on a rescue site and it said he was rescued from a kill
shelter; the former owner rubber banded his legs together to the
extent that one had to be amputated. People can be really horrible.
