Hi Dr. Stoll & others,
I recently had magnesium and vit C IV, in addition to my usual glutathione IV. The result was significant, and since I've had vitamin C IV's in the past with little to no impact, I believe it was the magnesium that made the difference.
In looking into ways to maintain glutathione, Vit C and magnesium levels between IV's, I was directed by a doctor to some liposomal products here: http://www.livonlabs.com/
I did purchase the vit C & glutathione products which I'll receive this week.
However I don't find a liposome encapsulated product for magnesium anywhere. It seems like this would be ideal to get large doses of magnesium absorbed. On your site you mention that Magnesium glycinate is the best form to use. There's a product called Natural Calm that some doctors recommend that claims to have the most absorbable form of magnesium, which they say is magnesium citrate. Here's my questions:
- Any thoughts on the best way to keep my magnesium levels up between IV's and what form to use? Is there a liposome encapsulated magnesium, or should I use mag citrate or glycinate?
- Would it be possible to get higher quantities of magnesium without stomach issues through retention enemas?
- I bathe in epsom salts. Am I getting a significant number of miligrams that way?
Thank you!!!
