I just went to the doctor today and the test results from a blood test came back showing very low testosterone and very elevated DHEA. I've always thought I have the symptoms of very low testosterone (extremely low libido, no body hair growth or facial hair growth, low energy, no muscle strength or stamina, depression etc.) but this is the first docter I've seen that's thought to check it. I cant remember the actual figures, it was around 30 nmol, and the reference range was something like 70 to 150. DHEA was way above the reference range.

I'm only 24 and I've read this is quite abnormal for a young man. My doc had put me on several supplements a few weeks ago; zinc, magnesium, vitamin D and made me increase my protein in my diet. Also got me taking probiotics and a gut repair supplement. Also taken me off dairy altogether. I have been feeling better doing this regime for a few weeks, but this blood test is alarming. My liver function test came back abnormal as well.

Are these abnormal hormone test results usually indicative of anything? Anyone have any similiar experience? (I am not on any medications, do not do any drugs etc)
