Dr. Stoll ...
I tried to get those urine test strips but all of the stores are saying that they don't carry them anymore because they expire too quickly and they don't sell that many. Just my luck.
The throbbing pain in my right side went away after a day .. the back pain I had the next day .. went away as well. Now I have an all over feeling of ICK in my whole stomach and haven't eaten much more than a cracker or two in a few days. I tried to eat a piece of toast before going to bed the other night but the next morning I had pretty bad cramps and in the bathroom with diarrhea.
Last night I was actually hungry ( I've been drinking only cranberry juice .. water .. and apple jucie without any problems) .. so I had a couple of chicken nuggets .. homemade with an oatmeal coating .. they were baked not fried. :) They were small nuggets and tasted SOOO good after having not eaten in a few days.
This morning though .. I had pretty bad cramping in my stomach and again .. diarrhea.
When I don't eat - I don't have a lot of pain. I actually took a shower yesterday and put some make-up on .. felt pretty good .. until I ate.
I haven't been able to stay awake for more than a couple of hours at a time but last night I couldn't sleep and today .. after sleeping for just 5 hours .. I'm not too sleepy .. just bored because I've been in bed with a heating pad on my belly.
So now my symptoms are and aren't ...
- NO fever .. but my temp is always pretty low - 96.8
- Overall stomach ICKiness - feels like I have the flu
- Nausea - but have not thrown up. Feel like I might but don't.
- gassy feeling .. was burping alot but taking gas pills now and those help a lot!
- bad stomach cramps after I eat something. Cramps everywhere in stomach - not just one place
- feel better when laying in bed with heating pad on belly. The heat really seems to help
I have been diagnosed with an ulcer before - way back in 1990 and was given some pain pills for it. Back then I was waking up because of the yuck coming up in my throat at night. I don't have that now but my upper stomach does burn a little like it did back then. I did NOT have the throbbing in my side back then though .. like I did this time .. the other day.
I do still have all my 'parts' but my tonsils. Could this be Gallstones? I don't have a fever though .. would I have a fever with gallstones?
Part of me thinks I should go get checked out to rule out the bad stuff -- appendix .. gallbladder problems etc. ... but the other part of me that hates to go to the doctor .. thinks that I should wait a few days to see if things get better.
My sisters friend died when she had gallbladder surgery .. they knicked her liver and didn't know it until it was too late. That is on my mind daily and although I'm sure it's rare to have problems like that .. my anxiety won't let me forget it.
