I live in Montreal, Canada so apparently we don't get enough sunlight from October to May for Vitamin D production.
I would like to know if I need to take a Vitamin D supplement even though I believe I get enough sun from May to September?
I've also read that Vitamin D call calcify your heart if you don't get enough Vitamin K. But you need Vitamin K2 and not K1 which is abundant in leafy greens.
So what should I do? I've tried talking to my doctor about getting my D levels tested and he says I don't need it.
