Hi Leah, I've had blood drawn at both local private hospitals
and the NHS one - but I only had it done there when it
coincided with a routine blood test from my GP, and it took
them 15 minutes of discussion to decide if they could do it or
not. I never told my GP about any of them. You have to pay
about 15 wherever you go and they pack it up and send it
off usually. When you order the test from Red Apple or
Genova they send you all the request forms which you simply
give the phlebotomist, and one of them, I think Genova but
may have been Lab 21, had an arrangement with Nuffield
hospitals for the blood draw.
