I've been eating a lot of fish lately, and this has me a little concerned about the mercury I may be consuming. I don't eat the fish that are notoriously high in mercury, but I'm still wondering about fish that are low in mercury.

I've read that fish with high levels of selenium counters the mercury when consumed. In other words, the fish that are safest to eat are the ones that have a higher selenium to mercury level.

I'm discovering that seafood puts less burden on my digestive system than land animal meat, so I want to keep eating often. I would like to hear opinions from other people regarding the safety of eating fish as much as three times per day.
